SUITE OF SERVICES
Advisory Service for Professionals:
Taking a collaborative approach, Estate Trust strives
to learn as many relevant facts about the client’s situation as possible. Our confidential discussions with advisors
frame the client’s current status as well as outline potential or necessary goals. Within this context, we provide valuable,
targeted advice about existing life insurance under review. As a result, the advisor has all the economic facts related to
the aftermarket value of the life insurance, as well as recommendations about related sale strategy.
Life Insurance Appraisal:
Professional advisors know that most life insurance policies are not static financial agreements.
Each policy will contain unique characteristics. Different carriers, carrier financial ratings, internal expenses, cost
of coverage, riders, endowment issues, fees, policy architecture and design, financial flexibility, performance, and mortality
ratings are among the most common. These policy features combined, with an institutional buyer's current underwriting
standards and investment parameters, will produce an aftermarket – net present value of a life insurance policy.
Estate Trust is known as a trusted source of life insurance appraisals.
Institutional Funders-Providers:
The secondary capital market for life insurance is now dominated by large-scale institutional
investors. Many are global financial and insurance organizations with marquee names and deep experience in investing.
As an asset class, life insurance settlements have become increasingly attractive to such sophisticated investors.
Management of Estate Trust has forty years of experience in secured finance and insurance,
all pre-dating the emergence of life insurance settlements in 1989. Our long term experience, reputation, and capital market
relationships have positioned us perfectly with today’s institutional investors in life settlements.
Estate Trust maintains productive correspondent relationships with all recognized institutional
investors in the life settlement market. In addition, we have proprietary relationships with some boutique institutional
investors. The latter category of companies typically meets the SEC definition of an institutional investor, but has very
specialized asset needs. For example, a large hedge fund may only purchase life insurance policies with a face amount over
$5 million.
Estate
Trust matches an application for a life settlement with each institutional investor's pricing model, unique parameters, licensing
requirements, and any other relevant conditions. The case is then submitted to these multiple institutions. The resultant
multiple offers produce the highest possible cash value for the client.
